Just another weekend...

No one can prepare you for the unexpected to happen. Yet, it's somehow eerily slow-motion. So many things to deal with - so many things already done. So many things to think of - so many things that have been too thought out.

This weekend was nice. Busy, but nice. I got a lot of painting done on a giant canvas that I've been putting off working on for far too long. Tonight I'm a bit dissatisfied with a few parts and that has halted my working on it at the moment. Other than that, I think I'll like it. Question is; what the heck am I going to do with it? I don't even know what my living situation will be like next month - let alone where the heck I'll put any random artwork!

My mom is such an inspiration. She continues to face death unafraid. If it's her time to go, she's ready. If not, then she's ready to get on with whatever is next for her. In the meantime, we're enjoying our mom. Life is anything but normal. I find it strange that this past month has caused me to think fondly upon "normal", as if it were a dream. Events in life inevitably change you and cause growth. In a moments time you realize that you have become someone or something completely different, and the "normal" that you once knew, is now completely foreign.

I'm not complaining. I feel strong in the midst of this battle. Whatever the outcome, I trust God and find amazing peace and strength in that.

My hands are so dry right now. It's rediculous!

It Starts....well, again!

Back, by high demand, IT'S HEIDI!!!!

Wooooo!
Yay!
Boo. Hiss.

Whatever your reaction may be, I'm back. Mainly for Brianne and Allison! I mean seriously, how long have you been asking me to update my blogger? I figured, I'll follow B's move and just start a new one. My last "blogger" was a sad attempt at best. I think I updated it maybe 3 times a year. Pathetic. My xanga - my first baby - was always my most current and up-kept form of communication. Over the years though, that changed. Mainly because weird people stalked me out, and I knew it. I'm a tricky lil' fella. After that, I moved to myspace, blogger, multiply, and (with much hesitation) facebook. Throughout it all xanga remained my favorite. Mostly because it flew under the radar and avoided all the hype. I've never been the kind of girl that wanted the world to know my business. I figure, if you want to know about me, then maybe you should actually KNOW me! Ha! But alas, I have become a stalker/reader of many interesting people's blogs, and so have realized that maybe it won't be the end of the world if I once again have yet another stalker or two in my life. Besides you guys, of course! ;)

So here is my first post. Short and sweet. Love it or leave it....you better gain way - if there was a problem, yo, I'll solve it... sorry, Vanilla Ice crept into my head for a moment there. It won't happen again.
